“Founding Father: The Life & Writings of John Adams” is a one-man show based on the life of John Adams, the second President of the United States and one of the architects of the Declaration of Independence.  Professional actor and historic interpreter Darrin Murrell uses his extensive research into the life, writings and public statements of John Adams and shapes them into a one-hour boisterous and impassioned performance that captures the rebellious and independent spirit of one of the architects of American Democracy.

 

The presentation incorporates an audio-visual design, historically accurate props and costumes and a “behind the scenes” look at the process of creating a solo performance. “Founding Father” is available for booking and is appropriate for schools (particularly 8th Grade History classes), libraries, senior living centers, club meetings, theatres and performing arts centers.
